You are making it complex when what Manny does is rather simple, Manny wants to get in his range and do damage, that is it. he doesn't overly care about what he takes aslong as he is getting at the other guy to get his.

Manny is there to be hit though, he is not that elusive but fighters do become less active and hit him less over the course of the fight because they get tired of taking damage before Manny.

If Manny fights in such a way he will either look like ass or get beat~ which I don't expect to happean because Manny doesn't need to do anything like that to win going in there and being himslef should be more than enough.
hes not an inside fighter but ur painting the picture of a one dimensional, seek and destroy fighter, which manny is not.
you say that all manny does is get in range and do damage. talk about oversimplification. it aint that easy to just get in range and when u get in range there's much more to worry about than letting your hands go.
being elusive doesnt just mean fighting off ur back foot, always being in a defensive posture or getting on ur bike. it is entirely possible to be an elusive offensive fighter if the knowledge, footwork, understanding of angles, etc is there.

    elusive [ɪˈluːsɪv]
    adj
    1. difficult to catch

you dont think that its possible for manny to be MORE elusive in this fight given the sizable difference in foot speed, upper body movement and footwork?
manny will not be sitting in front of margarito. he will get in and get out or get his and turn like hes BEEN doing. his ELUSIVENESS (due to his foot speed and footwork, as well as his upper body movement in punching range) will force margarito to constantly reset. if margarito cannot keep up with the angles, time the in and out movement or pivot n punch then he will be swinging at air.

I don't find Manny elusive atleast beyond average.

He takes punishment to get his and his main defense is his offence.

He is fairly one dimensional he can do a couple other things but everythign is based off his bread and butter.

If his bread and butter is not there everythign will fall apart, to a truly versitle guy that doesn't happean.

then u think he's the same fighter that he was at the lower weights. in which case, you're wrong. thats all.

maybe u just got this image of what manny is as a fighter and u cant shake that image no matter what u've seen in his recent fights.

i dont know what else to tell you other than...look closer.

was just pointing out that Roach was a hypocrite in this situation.
