He's right. Skills don't always win fights and this year has been proof of that.

Dawson is way more skilled than Pascal, but what happened?

Calderon is light years more skilled than Segura (even Giovanni admitted it) but what happened?

I mean boxing is full of examples, such as Lamotta beating Robinson, in which a guy can be several notches above his oppenent skill wise, but still loses.

I'm not even talking about a fluke KO losses, but losing a decision to a fighter that is no where near that persons skill level.

I say this because I notice a lot of people think fighter A is more skilled so Fighter A will win. Boxing doesn't always work that way.
