Joe could either try to unify the Supermiddleweight division, or move up to Light Heavy where he could face Glenn Johnson, Clinton Woods (for the IBF title) or the winner of Tarver/Jones. But a win over Jeff Lacy would probalby be the most beneficial thing for him right now.

A Johnson-Calzaghe fight was on, but after months of training Glen learned that Joe had pulled out with a back injury. Glen has since gone on record as saying his time is limited and he will never waste it again on waiting for Joe.
