What happens to Calzaghe if Reid beats Lacy on Saturday night?... (Which could happen, I mean Reid is no mug).

Back on the back burner for Calzaghe?

He'll turn his eye to some other american fighter.........Calzaghe needs a big fight, and it would be in his interest to fight a big american name....even Kessler wouldn't be a big enough name at the moment for Calzaghe....

At the same time, Reid is no mug whatsoever, and he is the one who has had worse luck....at least Calzaghe has a title....Reid's fight against Ottke was one where you would think all the gods were against him.

I have to root for Lacy Saturday because I'm dying to see Lacy-Calzaghe. It is the only superfight at 168 for the time being.

Joe could either try to unify the Supermiddleweight division, or move up to Light Heavy where he could face Glenn Johnson, Clinton Woods (for the IBF title) or the winner of Tarver/Jones. But a win over Jeff Lacy would probalby be the most beneficial thing for him right now.

If Reid still has some juice...I give him a good chance of beating Lacy, who I believe is a bit overrated.

If there is a bet to be made on this fight it would be Reid, Lacy's effort against sheika has to be eye opening and his lack of power is something that has begun to show a bit, too me especially in the Rubin Williams fight.

If Joe Calzaghe fought Glenn Johnson he would have a field day with the road warrior. I am a self admitted Calzaghe nuthugger who thinks he is the most talented fighter in the world between 168-175...Tarver and Johnson are nothing special and here is to hoping that at least once, at least once Joe can make a big fight happen.

I just hope he has not waited to long, his best could be behind him.
