good post......
Hey. GOD-FR33 here from MKE. It's not just ARIZA and ROACH! CHAVEZ can flat out fight........NATURALLY! He didn't have not one amateur fight. FIGHTING is in his jeans. I don't know why these so called fans refuse to acknowledge that the kid has skills. SAUL feet are slow and his boxing I.Q. isn't on the level of CHAVEZ either. I don't know IF SAUL beats JOHN DUDDY. He is saying the time is not right because he KNOW'S he would get K.O.ed! CHAVEZ is like 2wo fights away from his PRIME. TRUST ME. IF you watched SAUL/BALDOMERE a couple weekends ago, you know he's not all that GOOD! LoL. These idiots on here just love to argue. They base their entire argument on who they like and who is more popular, as opposed to who is better and why. I love COTTO as well, but he's welterweight and not a Jr. Middleweight. CHAVEZ Jr. would K.O. HIM I think.Comment

GBP vs. Top Rank at war right now so maybe there's no choice but to wait for this fight. Oscar said in some interview he wanted this fight to build and I believe he said in a few years.
If Canelo keeps improving he will have a lot of big pay days coming up. Might have to start calling him The Ginger Bread Man.Comment

Why not wait until they are both at thier complete best and at their primes?Despite the disparity in the number of fights, I believe that both are equally matched. Canelo’s desire to stall this fight to increase the “HYPE,” is in my opinion what is wrong with boxing. Why shouldn’t we get the benefit of a fight like this now instead of having to wait?
I would love to see this fight just based on the sheer magnitude of the fight in Mexico. Truth be told, a loss would not damage the career of either drastically. If Canelo wins, he is expected to and he would continue his rise as a bond fide star in the making, and Chavez fades into the background, which is what most predict anyway considering his overall body of work. Conversely, if Chavez Jr. wins, he gains more respect and sets up some great fights in the future including a rematch with a more seasoned Canelo, which will undoubtedly be the excuse for his loss. It’s a win – win proposition in my mind for us at least. I’m certain Chavez Jr. fans would beg to differ!Comment

These 2 guys are still up and coming...why put them against each other so soon..this fight has the appeal of a pacquiao/mayweather type of fight IF..IF they can start clearing some of these older guys from boxing...this could be the biggest fight in mexico..EVER...almost like a Barrera vs Morales type of thing..if they fight now itll be big in mexico only..but let them put more quality wins on their resume..and itll become a mega fight everywhere.Chaves Jr. is getting enough exposure without having to fight Alvarez at the moment, but that may change if he gets another loss to his name. At this point in time i see Chavez as the winner, but given a couple more tests and it'll be very hard to call. Alvarez could end up the better of the 2.
let it simmer for a year then get it on!!!Comment
