Sure. Just like Manny Pacquiao had no intentions of taking a challenge this year.

pac said **** it, ended up agreeing to march 13 anyway. bluff called. on to the next roadblock...
Arum have been right all along.

We fix one problem and Floyd make up another problem. It's a never ending situation.

stop quoting that post, it is wrong.

        here's what really happened:

        The real story:
Arum, HBO, and Team PBF agreed to have the fight on May 1. However, when Arum went to Pac with the offer, Pac said no because he would be campaigning for the elections which would take place on May 10. So Arum suggested March 13, which HBO and Floyd agreed to. Roach was against March 13, but Pac agreed to it, despite the short turnaround from the Cotto fight, since March 13 would not conflict with his campaign schedule.

I always remembered that Floyd used the March 13 date to bluff Pac, but it turns out I was wrong, I admit that.

Not a lie, just a faulty recollection. I admit I was wrong. See above.

Actually what really happened is that Floyd wannted fight May 1st, Roach wanted later on in the year becaus eof the election....Then he said they would fight Foreman in March and then Floyd's camp said so why don't we just fight in March....And the rest is history.

I don't think Floyd is ducking Manny but it's hard to defend him when he says he wants to go on vacation....I killed Mosely for saying the same thing when Floyd wanted to fight him and I have to do the same for Floyd.

All I can hope is that Margarito does not beat Manny....so that this figth can be made for next May

A woman is a minus so the Mosely fight does not count

Unless he chooses to fight 4 mexicans in prison which would be a challenge

Hes an unusual guy Floyd. He dont seem to want anyone. I doubt his father can read his mind as well, because otherwise Senior would talk more about what the hell Floyd is thinking.

Damn poker faces of boxers that you cant read them.

No, I wish Floyd can grow a pair and fight Pacquiao. But just like what the TS said, Floyd never had any intention of fighting Pacquiao. If Floyd really wanted this fight, we would not have this discussion.

when PAC blew Hatton out of the water, the public's demands for a PAC-PBF fight became enormous...everyone was buzzing at the thought

when PAC destroyed Cotto, Floyd had to think fast to stall and he lucked out

Arum was so intent on holding a fight in Texas for his pal Jerry Jones and Floyd's reluctance to fight outside of Vegas quickly squashed any kind of re-negotiations

and now, when PAC has accepted the terms, Floyd has run out of excuses...thats why he decided to go on vacation

the only thing that will happen now is for PAC-Tony to be a big success to give Floyd that last out

after November, PAC will look back and think 'damn, in two fights i did over 2mil ppv buys AND i put OVER 100K people in a stadium'

50-50 will sound like a generous offer to give to Floyd...at which Floyd will ask for 60 or over

the final nail in the coffin...no fight
