Yeah he deserves a shot but to strip Alexander for fighting a bigger more dangerous opponent is ridiculous and goes against boxings best interests. In cases like these exceptions should be made. If Alexander was fighting an opponent who brought nothing to the table and was ducking Mabuza then he should be stripped.

What goes against boxing's best interests is people making up the rules as they go along just to suit their own interests. Devon has a mando due, and the Alexander fight isnt made. So he needs to do his mando or vacate. And besides, with Bradley-Alexander having a rematch clause he STILL wouldnt be defending it in the next year or 2 anyways

i think nate campbell deserves a shot more than anyone. he only lost his last 2 fights cause he was blind and his knee didn't work. he's still undefeated basically.

That's the way it should be done!!! If the champion doesn't want to defend against his mandatory then he should be stripped & the #1 vs #2(or go down the order until who ever is available among the top 10 is ready to fight) should FIGHT for the vacant title...If this was the WBA, WBO or WBC they would have Mabuza fight for a FAKE-A S S CARDBOARD interim title(in which they would charge a santion fee) & have Alexander & Bradley unify(& like the leeches they are, suck up more sanction fee's) & then MAYBE have the winners of both fights face each other or try to MILK the official champ & the FAKE-A S S CARBOARD interim belt holder for more santion fees on seperate fights, while promising them that at 1 point down the line they will face each other!!!
