WBA junior welterweight champion Amir Khan has trashed his domestic rival, undefeated British and European lightweight champion John Murray. He told the Manchester Evening News that Murray has to prove he is worthy of a big payday by accepting a fight with junior welterweight Victor Ortiz, and winning. Golden Boy Promotions will offer Murray a fight against Ortiz on the Khan vs Marcos Maidana undercard on December 11 in Las Vegas.

Yep man Murray said he wants Katsidis Marquez winner or Soto .Majority think Ortiz would beat Murray man .I think that's one of Murray's strength's tho he's big at lightweight .I would still like to see him step up man but it'd be dangerous for him even tho he's failed to make lightweight before (it's only 5 pounds ) but Ortiz is a massive LWW man .I think they were talking Murray wants to sell out the MEN like Hatton .That could have something to do with it .I just hope the Khan Maidana card gets stacked man that's why I hope Murray fights Ortiz. I love a European level fighter stepping up man .

Ortiz and Khan are friends just like Oscar and Mosley, But they will still fight each other.

Khan has already beaten Ortiz in the amatuers and was trying to help John Murray by letting him fight on his undercard against Ortiz in Vegas.
