No, the "Americans" DO (not "does"[need some correct subject-verb conjugation]) not overrate Mayweather. He is a legit champ, arguably he is at or near the top of everyone's pound-for-pound list, and he deserves his credit. Now if he takes the fight with Zab, win or lose, he will have established his legacy(unless he gets knocked out in the first three rounds )

Rocky Marciano is underated, its unreal that someone can watch this man and not see pure ability. He'd have beaten Tyson without doubt.

If you dont rate Marciano then you dont see a boxers method, he was an offensive and defensive machine.

Read the first post, the title was spelt as it was on the "does the British overrate Hatton" thread. My English is fine when i'm not taking the piss.

BTW, beating Judah wouldnt prove ****, he's been beaten by every top fighter he's faced. Zabs overated, Mayweather is on a different level in terms of ability.

There is no way PBF, can be overrated. He has fought and beaten great fighters, so I really dont see any way that he could be overrated, to tell you the truth I dont think any fighter out there can really beat him. He is by far on my list as the best P4P boxer.

Its my belief that Marciano is the most over rated of all time.

He came at a pathetic time for fighters, and all he beat was a 37 year old Louis, a 30 something Ezzard Charles, and a 30 something year old Walcott.

He was slow, had bad balance, and he could be outboxed. All he had was a good punch, heart, and a good chin. Pretty much a better version of Tex Cobb

ThaGreatest... If you don't think the so called "P4P lists" are biased towards Americans then I'm afraid you're very naive.
