Hopkins, as some have already said, sees some things in Pascal that he feels he can exploit. He JUMPED at the opportunity to fight in Pascal's hometown even though B-hop is far and away the bigger name of the two. I trust the wily veteran looking to redeem himself after his putrid performance against RJjr. Now sooner or later Hopkins is going to get old in the ring since he doesn't seem to know when to hang them up. However, I think the old sage in the ring gives the younger, stronger fighter a boxing lesson. Pascal (although I didn't see the fight) lost to Froch for Pete's sake who I rank as one of the least-skilled (former) title holder in my recent memory. We'll see maybe I'm wrong which I wouldn't mind either since I'm not really a fan of Hopkins and think he should have called it a career years ago.
BHop is gunna be around the corner from my house tomorrow, for some radio event. Anti Mcnabb vs Pro McNabb tugawar over a pool of Chunky soup haha.
He must be so happy about how things turned out. He always supported vick when he was going through that ***** w/the dogs and always hated McNabb with a passion haha
People do the same old routine with Hopkins. He looks rough his previous fights and then goes on to beat someone he isn't expected to beat and people look shocked.
Hopkins is ALWAYS live, he has incredible boxing skills and a brain that understands the sport and we continue to underestimate the guy. I wouldn't be surprised in the least if he beat Pascal.
Hopkins is going to get hurt badly in this one. Pascal is ready to **** and he is too damn fast- he was definitely the quicker man against Dawson. His reflexes are superb. Stop mentioning what Hopkins did against Pavlik, because this isn't him. There is zero chance Hopkins wins, but I'll be impressed if he sees the final bell.
