Why did Shane look average against Sergio Mora?
34He is significantly more shot than he was against Mayweather.8.82%3He's been considerably shot for the last couple fights now.29.41%10Mora forced a stinker.52.94%18Other, explain in thread.8.82%3Tags: None -
Mosley only does good against flat-footed, come forward, one-dimensional fighters, with no head-movement like Antonio Margarito. Mosley needs his opponent to stay in front of him.Comment

Mora's style. All the running.
Mosley also looked fat and dry to me. Didnt look like he trained hard.Comment

Mosely looked like crap against Mayorga as well at 154. Everyone was crying he was shot and then he destroyed Margarito at 147 and looked great. I think Mosely should stick to WW in the future if he can still make the weight.Comment

He could be done as a fighter.
Or maybe it was a combination of things.
Like age, stylistic clash, and weight-class.
Shane has always looked average to me above 147. No matter what kind of style he is fighing. For example Marquez, Oscar, Mayorga, and Mora.
Not counting Winky since Winky was a very good fighter at 154. He would make a lot of fighters look averageComment

I think it had more to do with Mora's willingness or lack thereof to fight. I thought Mosley did the best he could have done considering the circumstances. He was fighting a naturally bigger guy at close to 39 years of age at a weight where he has never really shined before. He's clearly on the slide but I don't think he's shot quite yet and could still spring a few surprises at 154 if some of the top guys underestimate him.Comment

Alot of things, but mainly, bad clash of styles. Shane still looks good against someone who doesnt box and move, still confused why he fought Mora at all.Comment
