I think he meant they're killing boxing because they're not negotiating the proper numbers with the next best heavyweight (himself) and they're fighting scrubs instead. Haye is not ducking these guys, they need to treat him like the champion he is and not like any other opponent.

If he got 3 times as much money to fight Valuev than he would have gotten to fight one of the Klits why the hell should he fight these dudes for peanuts?

i think haye would be making more than "peanuts" against the klits. infact, he would be making a hell of alot more money against the klits than harrison if money is all he cares about. and from what i hear, haye was offered a 50/50 split except on wlads german rtl money. slightly unfair, but thats hardly peanuts is it! plus wlad has got the ring mag, and two major titles.

At the time he was calling out the Klit bros he was churning out all his best lines of saving HW division and cleaning it out. He wasnt WBA champ then either and he still dropped out of two fights with them (Granted one was through injury - so it was stated). How can he claim to want to be the best in the division and clean it out while his decisions have clearly been based on money.

Yes it was exciting at first but now its plain boring and irritating. He was a challenger who seemingly doesnt want a challenge!

hayes probably right about the fight negotiations with the klits, but haye hasnt got a leg to stand on saying the klits are killing boxing when he is fighting audley harrison. practice what you preach haye.

Haye is the biggest running joke in boxing. The stuff he's saying looks even more ridiculous when you see who he's fighting next. I seriously doubt Haye would ever fight Shannon Briggs, not because Briggs is no good, but because he's afraid Briggs would KO him.

Uhh...Haye has the exact same belt Ruslan Chagaev had and Chagaev was able to make a deal with Wlad...on short notice...to replace David Haye. Chagaev was also undefeated with more wins at HW and beat Valuev more impressively. So waht the hell is David haye talking about. He is champion because of politics. Wlad beat Chagaev so the belt went back to Valuev....Seriously, the only way Haye could be considered even remotely legitimate is if he beat someone like Chambers or Chagaev or Adamek or Solis or Povetkin...thats about it. As it stands his best win was beating Valuev for a belt Valuev got because he man who beat him lost to Wlad.

Treat him like a champion? They managed to make a fight with Chagaev...who had the EXACT same belt. So whats the matter here....Oh yeah Haye watched tape and went into camp for Wlad and realized he had no chance and pussed out.

yeah, but chagaev brings in nowhere near the same amount of money haye does. thats probably why it was easier for them to make the fight.

I hope the Klitschko's won't answer this. Ignore him, he will be out of the game before too long anyway, then the bros can unify all belts and retire as legendary All Time Greats.
