Arum is the worst thing for boxing right now.

All he cares about is the $.More so than the competition.Its not about the sport at all when it comes to Bob Arum.

Just look at whats coming up.Manny/Margo....Its a ****ing joke.

Not only do you have a guy who just came off suspension for illegal hand wraps fighting for a vacant 154lb WBC title with whom many feel is the #1 P4P fighter in the world in Pacquiao,but then you have Pacquiao,who is fighting at 154lb limit for the first time fighting for a vacant world title.

There have been fighters fighting and busting there asses in the 154lb division and they dont get the shot at the title.

Competition is healthy. Otherwise, any one company can dictate quality, prices, etc. That is just wrong.

Well in boxings case it's also allowed promoters to protect their fighters and pad their records, stop the biggest fights that could be made from happening, boxing getting thrown off network TV, the costo f PPV's going up while the quality of the actual even goes down. I could go on and on about this and none of it would happen if one single entity controlled boxing.

I didn't think it would be such a big deal to suggest ONE organization... Just becuz Oscar suggested ONE doesn't mean there can only be ONE... This ain't the highlander.

Wouldn't it be the dumbest thing in the world if De La Hoya made TWO? Lmao.
The complaints here r mostly petty opinions about Oscar, but it ain't like Bob couldn't do the same thing lol. Look at the Strikeforce, UFC rivalry. UFC is definitely making all the money, but Strikeforce is for damn sure producing a lot of great fights (arguably better fights). More than one organization would be healthy, and it's likely to happen. (Especially since Top Rank tends to get the better fighters for whatever reason)

Golden Boy Promotions ("GBP") is a corrupt organization run by Tyrant-Oscar.

GBP has staged FIXED FIGHTS involving:

Oscar v. Felix Sturm,
Oscar v Pacquiao,
Pac v Clottey,
Pac v Margarito,

GBP was behind the cover-up of Shane Mosley’s illegal use of EPO Steroids/Hormones before the Margarito-Mosley fight.

Originally the Margarito-Mosley fight was supposed to take place in Nevada, but GBP had it moved to California to help their fighter and business partner, Shane Mosley avoid detection of the blood doping agent-EPO Steroids

When Margarito and Mosley were scheduled to fight in Vegas,,,, about 7 weeks before the fight, a Federal Judge (out of concern for Margarito's well-being) released Mosley's EPO blood doping calendar to the public, that showed how Mosley injects EPO through his stomach, and on which days.

When Mosley's EPO usage calendar was released (about early December 2008), Nevada boxing commissioner-Keith Kizer warned Mosley that he would be blood tested for the illegal/banned stamina booster-EPO, before fighting Margarito.

When Mosley was warned by the Nevada Commission, he was worried he would get caught with EPO, so he had his buddies (Oscar & Shaeffer) move the fight from Nevada to California (LA's STAPLES CENTER), cause Mosley knew that california only does post fight urine tests, which will NOT detect EPO.

Margarito's promoter (Bob Arum) knew that Mosley was pulling this sleazy stunt, but cared less, cause he was gonna profit from a, then, proposed Mayweather Jr vs Mosley fight (which took place on May 2010), cause he agreed with Oscar, to conspire, this dirty ploy.

That''s why the California boxing commission officials allowed Margarito to try to use plaster inserts, cause they all knew that Mosley was "juiced-up" with EPO, and was not gonna get caught, and Margarito was being "backstabbed" by his very own promoter.

Margarito doesnt say anything, cause Mosley, through GBP, had filed a federal lawsuit against Conte, so that he can place a GAG order on anyone that makes public staments.
thats why Margarito us being silence, just like Floyd is being silent about Pac's steroid uses.

Oscar was also behind the cover-up of Hopkins' EPO Steroid uses before Hops fought Kelly Pavlik, which is why Hopkins got away with cheating, in avoiding detection of EPO prior to fighting Pavlik.

As, you can see. GBP is a CORRUPT organization that cheats the sport of boxing, and steals money from fans with FIXED FIGHTS.

Its no wonder the New York Statse Boxing Commission had placed a suspension on GBP, Because GBP is a BIG CORRUPT Organization that wants to monopolize boxing.

Oscar is a corrupt TYRANT, that wants totalitarian control of boxing, so that he can MONOPOLIZE Boxing, in the greediest way he could.
