G Margarito is tailor made perfectly for Pac brah.... you are right about Pac's face he can get busted up in this one if he gets caught repeatedly. ... i know its Pac but at that weight will he still be as fast?

margs will take 3 to land one but if he lands with any type of sustained rythm its over , it will boil down to margs chin.if manny cant hurt margs it wont be good, like i said manny doesnt have one punch ko power at 147 like mosley does, he has speed, but thats not the same thing, he hasnt put anybodys lights out at 147 like mosley has repeatedly doesnt have mosleys power at all.thats where i think people are overestimating pacman.and mind u this is yet another wt class above .......

boxingfan76 the reason why cheato got shots in on clottey and cotto is because their movement is slower than pacs.it does'nt matter how big and strong cheato is. if you compare pacs speed with cheatos slowness.advantage pac.manny will use angle,movement,and combos all night long.

its going to take more than just mannys speed to win. I wouldnt bank on it. its no garuntee. and this is heavier, his punches may not have the same zap, those 5 extra lbs or more will not help manny.I can clearly see that manny doesnt have the same power from 140, to 147 now this will be witha guy almost 10lbs more? it doesnt matter if margs is less skilled, thats too many disadvantages, crappy defense, 6 inch reach advantage,5 inch height advantage, 10lbs weight advantage by fightnight non-stop aggression, and a guy thats ****** with mosley,williams martinez, santos,cintron all guys manny wouldnt dare face and u think hell win garunteed on his speed??? it may be but its not as likley as u think this isnt ricky hatton bro.this will be a fight, only way it isnt a fight is if margs is completley shot.

margs knocked down a 160lb dude in the first round last fight, pac couldnt take clottey off his feet or even close, cotto knocked down clottey with a jab,lol. Id put zero stock in that whole brick thing.

Manny will need to go in and out on Margo and show him angles but Manny will also need to make Margo respect his power. If he doesn't then Margo will be walking in all night long. Margo will take 2 shots to his one.

Speed and movement will be important for Manny but that may not be enough. Like I said, he needs to get that respect.

Just look at Margo vs Martinez. Yes it was a younger Martinez but we all know that Martinez is fast and had decent movement even then. Margo walked him down and took his punches just so he can come back with his own shots and hurt Martinez.

I can see why certain people view Margarito as being so dangerous for Pacquiao. He has a solid chin (well, he used to have one, not so sure anymore), decent power, loves to attack the body ruthlessly and he does not stop coming. He is also always in great shape, I've never seen the man look tired between rounds and he certainly doesn't fight with any intent on slowing down, only picking up his intensity. However, Margarito creates no angles. None. He also fights very square, and he has little foot or head movement-he is incredibly easy to hit and hit hard. This is further compounded by the fact that he is slower than Pacquiao. Much slower. He will more than likely get hit with more shots from Pacquiao than from any other fighter before.

But, Pacquiao has many of his own problems. He has incredible foot and hand speed, but lacks the ability to move his head, well. (He can move and avoid shots, though he is not very good at it) He also tends to fight very square and thus takes an incredible amount of punishment. In short, he's too easy to hit. He likes to dart in and out and throw combinations, but a stiff, hard jab would completely nullify that. And what's more is that Pacquiao can take a lot of punishment, but it is still not known whether or not he can take punishment consistently from a larger opponent. Neither Clottey nor Cotto were able to trade regularly with Pacquiao throughout the fight, as they both wilted after a few rounds and stopped throwing. Margarito won't do that. If he still has something left, it will be an interesting fight.
