Does Cintron deserve Cotto fight?

Who the hell else is Miguel gonna fight? I'm a Cotto fan and I must admit, he's been overvalued on this site, no better than an A- fighter and at this point in his career not even that, prob B+ (You can argue that he LOST 3 out of his last 5 fights because Clottey was flat out ROBBED at the garden...)

Cintron EASILY gets a B from me, maybe even a B+... No shame in losing to Margarito or drawing Martinez, the Williams fight was some BS and I think he was going to win if that BS didnt go down. He was CLEARLY the harder and sharper puncher...

This is one of the guys I like because for 1 he'll get in the ring with ANYBODY and 2 he gives you your money's worth...

Man people can talk all the **** they want about clottey which is understandable but atleast the man STAYED inside of the ring for the full twelve despite fighting like a coward in a once of a life time chance. Cintron leaped out of the ring like a frog and aside from that he fought like a ***** against Sergio.

If you watch the first 7 rounds of that fight you will see that Kermy was giving Sexy fits until he dun got ktfo.


Williams on the other hand was sonned, countered and made to look a fool vs. Sexy for 12 rounds.

Some people are conned by him throwing all dem' ponches, but not me, cuz' most weren't landing and when he threw dem' he looked like he was praying more than ponching.

Kermit is world class and worthy. I don't care if he cries in the ring.

I WOULD say that Cintron gave Martinez a harder fight than did Pavlik did though. I dont know why people think Cintron got KOed against Martinez, he clearly got up before 10 and wasnt really in any KO condition either, he just *****ed out and took a knee after getting hit flush.

I dont know about you guys, but I had him winning the Williams-Cintron fight 3-1 before froggy took a leap. How one judge gave Williams every round is simply beyond me.


Berto, Williams and Cintron are all 'worthy' of fighting Cotto. but Berto is too busy being a cherry pickin chicken and Williams is fighting Martinez, so why not face Cintron? hes probably the toughest competition out there for Cotto, unless Cotto goes after someone like Dzinziruk.
