Vitali Klitschko... heart or no heart

He Retired on his stool while winning big vs byrd with an injured shoulder and has been called a ***** ***** ever since,

then fought lennox lewis with the worse cut ever in boxing for 3 rounds with his "face torn off" and yet still wanted to continue.

hate him or not... but don't say he has no heart!

Everyone is entitled to making mistakes... and whatever the issue was with Byrd... quitter, or not.. he sure learned from it!

vitali had to stay on his stool because of a torn rotator cuff. ever had one of those? hurts, dont it? u wana stay in the fight for 6 more minutes of fighting, endure ungodly pain, and risk permanent injury? or do you wana let the **** have the cheap win so u can say "i'll get you back"?

vitali was cut and wanted to continue because he knew he had the ability to KO lewis and victory was so damn close, he could taste it. but the doctor stopped the fight and vitali was openly upset about the stoppage.

in the byrd fight, vitali thought he won in his mind. beside, does any1 REALLY think byrd truely won that fight?... i didnt think so...

have to go with heart, He took a real beaten from LL, although he would have been KO'd within the next 2 rounds, he was still in there trying to win.

I reluctantly voted "HEART" only because of the intestinal fortitude he displayed when he "beat"(in the ring, not in the records column) Lennox Lewis. He would have had that fight, heck, if it wasn't for the eye injury, he had the fight!!! Lennox was out of shape and outclassed by Vitali, and that my fellow Pugilism Scholars is the true reasaon why L.L. retired.

asking this question is like saying Hector Camacho Jr. Heart or No Heart? ....when we clearly know the answer to the question

Why is he so inactive then?

              What a chump he is...

EvilSaint, yes it mustve hurt, look at ALL the other fighters and the pain they went through..

Hopkins fought with a dislocated shoulder

Gatti fought with a broken hand many times

              Look at Holyfield..

              Look at Meldrick Taylor..

              Look at Thomas Hearns..

              Look at Aaron Pryor..

I'm sorry, Vitali Klitschko does not deserve to be in the same group as them...

No warrior quits when they're winning and the fights almost over and fighting a little ***** like Chris Byrd...

As you know how our opinions go apart when it comes to Klitchkos... I still think you're a cool kid/prospect..

1 - I hope you don't get injured if you ever turn pro, but that's like saying don't get into an accident once you start driving....

2 - If you do get a torn rotator cuff... have enough brain to call it quits and not jeopardize the rest of your carrer. People who had that type of injury say it's unbearable pain... so how can one judge if he hasn't gone through similar experience.

Yes I know Holy did it against Byrd..
By no means I mean to compare the two.. Evender is a one of a kind warrior... and he really gets psyched up for each fight, but that's his life and his own decisions..
Besides, who can compare.. different people take pain differently.

Also, V-Ko still had his whole career in front of him, where Holy was at the end of his. Who knows.. if he was to continue it might have impacted him in the future.... and he was to beat Byrd and than loose or retire due to a messed up showlder... Would he even be able to get to the level where he is today? He would have probably be forgotten as a good prospect as he was, and soon written off due to Wlad's Losses....

My take.. it was a good decision

Imagine you are a good talent who happens to be white and a media darling. You have the chance to make tons of money. Now there's this guy who got beaten badly by you and suddenly your shoudler hurts like hell. They tell you in the corner that this injury might force you to retire if you continue fighting ...to retire...forever. You think of all the money you could make, of all the fame you could get, of that fn pain and of that guy that didnt stand a chance. How would you decide?

                    Thanks bro,

                    either way I'm biased lol

but about your sig and list of upsets, I wouldn't really consider Reid or Johnson upsets because they were both the underdog..
