This isn't a Mayweather-Pacquaio issue buddy. Top 5 welter or not, Clottey was coming off of a loss to Cotto, who Pac had KO'd his his previous fight. No way to twist that into an acceptable opponent. Margarito was totally dismantled in his last fight against Mosley, who was totally embarrassed by Mayweather and just fought to a draw to Mora. No way to paint this as a meaningful fight for maybe the best fighter in the world.

But hey, since you want to make this a Mayweather-Pacquaio debate, here you go. Mayweather fought Marquez, who Pac ducked a third fight with. Then, Mayweather fought Mosley, who Pac openly ducked. There's no way to make Pac's last two opponents better than Mayweather's last two, considering JMM was #2 P4P and Mosley #3 when Money fought them, while Clottey and Margarito will probably struggle to get in anybody's top 50 P4P. And did I mention, Mayweather fought the guys Pac didn't want to fight!!!!!

Ummmm Manny didn't try fight them either and all of them
were available at 154 but instead Manny opted to fight
Margarito who was loading his gloves and got suspended
for a title at a catchweight of 151? Couldn't Manny have
moved up and fought someone better who was actually

Margarito's natural is 154 and Pacquiao's natural is around 143... So how the hell does beating Margarito mean nothing? Mayweather never even fought anybody bigger than him so how does his words have any justification?

Lets not forget that Oscar was at his comfortable
weight and hadn't fought at 147 in YEARS. Had
the gloves and ring he wanted going against Floyd
who was shorter and weighed less than the 154
limit while Oscar was 12LBs over. Hatton was undefeated
and determined to beat Floyd. To me, after seeing
what has happened to Hatton. He was at his best
before and when he fought Floyd even at 147. When
Ricky fought Pac, he was having a terrible training camp
with Floyd Sr. On top of that! Floyd fought Oscar and
Hatton more than a year before Pac did and there should
be no debate that they were better against Floyd then
they were against Pac. Great wins for Pac but totally
different fighters from when Floyd fought them.
