I was thinking the same thing. I wonder what weight class he'll be fighting at during his first fight back. Surely his trainers will not have him weight drain down to jr mw but rather have him fight at a higher weight class.

Kirkland is going to need a couple of fights before he faces anyone decent.
I'm sure he's going to KO his bum comeback fights easy, so those wont be of much help to get rid of ring rust. I hope he comes back just as good.

im sure he is in great shape, aint nothin to do in prison but workout and read,, and i know he has been hungry to get out and get back on track.. the weight might be an issue but i dnt think he is more than 175 right now,, but im just guessing.

kirk wasn't no more then 170 when richard last checked on him. so haters can cry. kirk is a ANIMAL when training. he can get back down to 154 easy the way he trains.

200 pounds? you're ******ed. the last time richard checked on kirk he was around 170. kirk might not have the resume of cotto but kirk would present real problems for cotto in a actual fight. i see a tko stoppage in kirks favor. that would be a dumb fight for cotto to even take.......
