Comments Thread For: Schaefer: James Kirkland November Return Still Possible

According to Golden Boy Promotions CEO Richard Schaefer, unbeaten junior middleweight contender James Kirkland still has a chance of returning to action in the month of November. Kirkland, imprisoned since April 2009 after pleading guilty to a charge of gun possession by a convicted felon, could be released from prison as early as this week, put in into a halfway house and potentially placed on a Golden Boy co-promoted card on November 6 in Newark, New Jersey.

Still waitin for the Angulo showdown, after he gets this Visa thing taken care of and the fight gets some hype under it...it could get set on the undercard of a big PPV.

Good to hear kirk coming back soon, I would rather see his comeback fight make the televised headliner rather than see Judah fight .

it will be a November to Remember that's for sure.

tons of great fights that month, and adding Kirkland will def. do it some justice
