I agree that it took what fight he had left in him. There's a documentary on him following his build up to that fight and his preparations were a shambles. He'd shown signs of slipping in earlier bouts too.

He can't be considered great because of how he went out but I still think he'll be remembered fondly for his talents in years to come.

I can't understand the "exposed" thing. That's when you've lost to an average fighter after you've been hyped. It's not when you've unified and dominated your division for years and eventually lost to an all time great fighter.

Nas has no legacy he was nothing more then a clown use for exhibition. I dunno why JuyJuy place him in his British list of top 5 all time. Either British has short list of great fighters or JuyJuy is just another idiot. If Nas and MAB would have been in prison, Nas would have been MAB *****.

Yeah, I see what you are saying, but it blows my mind how BoxRec.com has him ranked as the all-time greatest Featherweight. That is crazy!!!

Man, you really are an idiot aren't you! I've had enough of you to be honest, can somebody tell me how to contact the mod's because this guy really sucks.

I said that Hamed sneaks into 5th place ahead of Lennox Lewis in my top five British fighters of the last 15 years. If he retired in 1995 then that alone would of still placed him in ahead of Lewis, the reason he fell to pieces and was a shadow of his former self Post-Johnson was because he didn't do anything that Ingle told him when his ego got too big and then leaving Ingle messed him up. He looked much sharper in 1995 than he did in 2001, 2000 or even 1997. That was his prime, 1994-1995, and he was so sharp that everybody genuinely believed that he would be greater than Ali.

But he'll be remembered as a kid who had a lot of natural talent but tried being Herol Graham, everybody wanted to be Herol and Hamed was not Herol, and he'll be remembered as a guy who copied Eubank's moves when there was only one Eubank. That's what he'll be remembered for mostly, trying to be Herol Graham and Chris Eubank and doing a very bad imitation! In America he will be remembered as the little Arab party boy who got owned by Barrera, the WBO featherweight who relied on one-punch power (far and away from the elusive, combination-punching bantamweight/super-bantamweight we remember in Britain in 94-95).

Boxrec's only good for one thing, and that's stats.

I liked Naz, but he didn't do much

              His entrances kicked ass!

His fight with Kelley was one of the most entertaining fights of all time. People talk about Hagler-Hearns being so amazing, but ****, this was a better fight than that.

Let's not forget that Naz was the First man to ever hold all four belts..

He was also HBO's greatest asset. Who sold better on HBO, Naz or Roy Jones? It was Naz. Fair play to the little fella (although a total waste of natural talent)

The only thing naz will be remembered for are his ring entrances. nothing spectacular about his BOXING career...

Stateside maybe, but in the UK he'll be remembered for being a ****y little bastard who was a good fighter in the ring, with an awkward style to oppose. Barrera schooled him though.
