Ortiz basically wants a world championship handout without having to fight for it and put in the blood, sweat and tears, Because he "doesnt deserve to get beat up like this". He should go find another sport and stop crying on HBO like a *****
Thats why hes had the hardest time in the division even getting a shot? Remember the Maidana fight was for the Interem belt not the full title, hes never even had a shot. Hes gone on after Maidana to take out 4 fighters, fighting on a regular basis..not taking 6 month breaks like some of these other belt holders. Everyone has there reasons for fighting mind you, but Ortiz is chasing a title and it shows...he will more than likely be fighting in Dec again, thats 5 fights in a years span. The kids putting in work, and hopefully he gets a shot after this fight...because he has put in the work and hasnt been given any hand outs.

good post. ortiz is staying busy and unlike many young fighters is showing improvement fight after fight.
he's learning new techniques, applying them in the ring and becoming a better fighter.
sparring is sparring, but there's no better experience than getting "live action" with no head gear.
whenever he gets his shot, he'll be more than ready while other fighters are stagnating fighting once or twice a yr.
he knows that hes still far from a complete fighter, but he's working towards becoming one.

Floyd and Paul Williams are biggest American hypejobs.

Victor Ortiz is great fighter ,but mentally weak.

He need sport psychologist for sure.

Ortiz has world class skills, power, and speed.

He could potentially beat anyone in the world at 140 if he has matured as a fighter since the Maidana loss and can tough it out with things are not so easy for him.
