What hernandez and Castillo did to claim to be better than Cotto??

Hernandez doesnt counts cuz he had cancer at that time and Castillo beat Floyd and Cotto is 3 division champ and better fighter then Castillo.

Barrera has the better career overall, but the pre-Margarito version of Cotto would still have been a tougher fight for Manny than Barrera at a much lower weight!!DLH was past it even against Floyd, remember Cotto did outfight Mosley who in turn destroyed Margarito, but Oscar got pushed to the limit by 2 pounds in his return to 147,2 pounds would not have made the final bell against Cotto!!Oscar Barely beat Stevie Forbes, please show Cotto a little respect!!

like other ppl in this thread said, i think the version of dlh mayweather fought would be a tough fight for even prime cotto.

The version of Oscar Floyd fought barely beat 2 pound Stevie Forbes, nuff said!!

The DLH that fought Floyd was more of a promoter than a boxer at that point, he was way past his prime. He was 34 years old, had only fought ONCE in the 3 years since being KO'ed by BHop, and as Freddie Roach so eloquently put it 'couldn't pull the trigger anymore'. He was done, yet still lost only by SD and a ******ed/blind judge scoring the 12th for Floyd was the only thing that stopped the fight from being a draw.

That Oscar gets beaten badly by a prime Cotto, by vicious body shot to the 'leever' ala Hopkins.

Cotto>Judah, proved it in the ring.

Cotto>Corrales + Castillo (who beat Floyd).

            So the answer is no.

                And, Judah?
Corrales never was as good as Cotto.

Cotto just get plastered once and then beat by the fighter of the decade, then,he beat a younger Mosley than the one Floyd beat.He trashed Quintana,Judah,Torres and many others.
                Cotto isnt an overrated fighter.

floyd will go down as the biggest duck in boxing history, choosing instead to fight washed up or much smaller opponents. He has limited power and a weak chin. The only thing I give him credit for is his style of defense which is almost perfect. If he were to have fought the Cotto that fought Margarito Cotto would've walked away still champion. Oh, and to the original question the answer is no. Floyd won't fight a guy who has a chance against him. It's idiots like that who ruin the sport of boxing choosing instead to milk it for what its worth. Floyd will never give his fans the fights that they want to see which makes being his fan more frustrating than getting puzzi when you're fourteen.

After they witnessed what happened to Arturro, Cotto's team said Cotto was too "green," Hatton said said a Hatton wasn't "ready" and Kostya Tszyu flat out said no way. I am pretty sure you hear the Hbo team reiterated this, but as all Mayweather haters, you probably conveniently chose to ignore it.
Everybody knows the time when this fight was at it absolute peak was when Cotto was at 147 and after Mayweather fought Hatton. Try again
