His feet seemed to flip away from under him, although it wasn'ta slip, it was a punch.

Yeah that was perfectly timed jab that caught Pac off balance. He didn't seem hurt, but he was definitely shook up, like "what the hell did he hit me with?"

He did a good job of keeping his distance to regain his balance.

Pac always had a good right hand, but Roach just trained him to use it more and switch up his punches so he's not so predictable always going for the one-two.
