  • Comments Thread For: Arum Blasts De La Hoya: Chavez Jr. Still Under Contract!

In response to an earlier story that was posted on BoxingScene.com, Top Rank's CEO Bob Arum has come out swinging. During a recent video interview with AOL FanHouse, Golden Boy President Oscar De La Hoya expressed his interest in an all-Mexican mega-fight between Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. and Golden Boy's hot prospect Saul Alvarez. Chavez Jr. is promoted by Golden Boy's business rival, Top Rank.

Uncle Snob called Oscar a MORON? Wow, I don't think they will kiss and makeup ever again.
I wonder Why Jr is talking to GBP if He still has contract with Top Rank.
I understand His frustration because Top Rank is not negotiating with other promoters limiting his fights to Top Rank fighters.

They should get a room and pump each others beans to make up.
Top Rank will not be ranked top if they continue with their snobby attitude.

now, chavez would rather fight canelo and move to GBP.

And why? He can't go anywhere long term because he doesn't have the talent to be a world class fighter.

I can't wait until he steps up and gets beaten so he can go away and stop wasting the sports time.

Now Arum is going to file a 3 million dollar law suit and both lawsuits will offset eachother like when 2 NFL teams both get a yellow flag on one play
