They should have just kicked Allan Green to the curb and had these two bouts as the semi-finals, with the winners fighting each other and calling it a day. Getting Green a new opponent and having that newer opponent get the win (most likely Green will lose a decision and the new opponent will get 2 points) and then if Dirrell loses to Ward, who goes on then, especially if Froch beats Abraham. Now that Kessler is out, Green should just be out too and let this play out as is....

Fuckers, allowed the fighters to indulge in bull shit excuses for their fights in October and then they reschedule on the same day of Marquez vs Katsidis. Show bouts start at 6pm PT, HBO bouts start at 6:45pm PT. And I hate catching fights on DVR, Fuckers.

To my recollection, they offered Bika the spot that Greens got now but he backed out. Doubt he comes in now, but ya never know.
I still think they'll pull Green out, they just have to announce it officially. If they don't, I think they should just automatically advance him and keep this thing moving. After all, he did come in to an unfair advantage, taking over Taylors "0" points. I don't know, a bit confusing. At this point I'm just hoping for no injuries, whinning, crying or "I'll Quit if"s....

Will be a nice treat to end Nov if this happens but I wouldn't hold my breath for Ward/Dirrell. If they don't fight, they should just crown the King.

Someone asked Dan Rafael that same question in his chat about an hour ago and this was his response:

              Dan Rafael (1:11 PM)

I was told Bika turned down the fight as his father just died.

What's Jeff Lacy up to these days?

Damn, I wanted it to be at the end of October or on Dec. 18, but whatever.

Except for that rare occasion, Showtime and HBO telecasts usually don't overlap. Stream Froch-Abraham, watch Dirrell-Ward live at 9 (it'll be over at or around 10:30), switch over to HBO to watch Caballero-Litzau, maybe Berto-Aydin or Hernandez, and top it off with a surefire candidate to FOTY.

                  Doesn't get any better

What an awesome month November will be for boxing fans. Can we just skip October altogether so we can get there quicker?
