That said, I personally think Shobox is not for showcasing purposes unless the fighter is that good and makes the fight look like it. Shobox is where prospects encounter step up fights, whether it's against other undefeated prospects or tough veterans.

2 solid prospects lost in the last few months on the show in Antwone Smith and Chric Avalos. 1 against a tough vet and the other against another undefeated fighter.

Good ****, if only ****** ass HBO with twice the budget could put on Peterson-Rios level fights every week they would actually be doing something. Except for that BS the Brits put on, Shobox is the most consistent boxing show out.

He was never going to face Valero either way, Top Rank was on some bait and switch **** because they knew Valero would destroy that man. Even made him vacate and move up, so him and Soto aren't even in the same division at the same time.
