U must be retarted or didnt c the Cotto VS Margarito fight, cause Cotto was outboxing Margarito till the later rounds, if Cotto never tryed to KO Margarito it would hav been a shut out easy. Only reason Cotto lost that fight was cause he burned himself out in the early rounds, if they fought again Cotto would kill Margarito. Now Manny he would probably lose again but he would put up a better fight, I personally think the lack of experiance he had i his corner failed him that night.

Yes it's true Cotto burned himself out, but he did it trying to keep Margarito off of him. On that day if Cotto would have lessened the amount of punches he threw Tony would have crushed him earlier.

I will say that I'm glad Cotto is thinking for himself and making his own decisions. If he wants to fight the winner of Manny/Tony next, that's cool. Chavez Jr., that's cool too.

Say what you want about Tony being shot or whatever, but the dude will bring it and if there is a way to win, he'll will himself there. If he loses, then he loses and everyone will want a rubber match. Same with Manny - If he beats Tony and Cotto goes after him and beats him somehow. It's a never ending story, we just go in circles and b*tch about it here.

If Cotto loses to any of the named fighters, there's no shame there either. The dude has been through war after war and anyone who is a boxing fan would miss the thrill he brings (no knee jokes please, I'm trying to be nice).

PR, Mexican, Black, Chinese, European, whatever - WE ALL LIKE GOOD ENTERTAINING FIGHTERS WHO LEAVE IT ALL OUT THERE. Regardless of all our bias, I'm sure the real fight fans will agree with that.

Doesn't matter who wins. Personally I would want a Cotto/Margarito fight only because it would bet he most entertaining and that's what we want: A Good Fight.

I don't think the dude gives a crap about his belt. He's already getting a little more into his promotion company and has mentioned that he may just fight a couple more times. Right now it has to be about legacy and money.

Plus, I think the time in which you must defend your title is once annually, so he may have quite a bit more time. And the latest the plans will go with the mentioned fighters will probably be March (I think).
