I don't know if you've noticed but Margarito isn't the same fighter that he used to be. He seems to have lost some of his punch(ahem!) and the beatings he took from Cotto then Mosley have cut him down a notch. If Pacquiao works Margarito like he did Cotto I believe the anger in Cotto will fuel Margarito's destruction and permanent fall from boxing.

Cotto + Manny = 1mil+ ppv buys
Cotto + Margarito = 1mil+ ppv buys
Coto + JCCjr = 750k+ ppv buys

Vanes and cintron would be lucky to break 300k ppvs. And only because some Cotto fans, and even then many of the cotto fans would probably rather watch it at a bar or with friends than to actually pay for those fights.

Cotto is not scared, he is a elite fighter and understands bigger fights are out there. Boxing is a business, just look at what happen to Mosley, took a fight against a fighter few knew, had trouble and now they wont even consider him for a pac fight. And the fighter he distroyed is getting the pac fight and big check.

No business fighting pacquiao again. Margs imo beats him, almost same fashion. Would be interesting though with stewart in his corner. And against jr I see that as a toss up fight, but Cotto having a lil bit more than 50% shot, for a good chunk of change. Although I wouldn't be surprised if jr pulled it off he would prolly enter the ring close to 170

I had a feeling that this was going to happen. After Cotto said that Margo wouldn't make a dime off of him he is willing to fight him. If Margo beats Pac a rematch against Cotto would be big money. If Margo loses against Pac ppl will have the feeling that he can avenge his loss. All high paying fights with a posibility of a rematch against Pac.

Yes Cotto!! I want him to face Margarito after he loses to Pacquiao. That fight would sell regardless and Cotto will finish Margarito off for good and feel at peace through redemption. Then go after Pacquiao!

Your probably right about Manny but Cotto beats Margo without the plaster. Imagine the first six rounds of the first fight but for twelve rounds.
