Why Boxing Is In Rough Shape

I noticed a disturbing, pathetic trend lately with so called 'fans'. Instead of 'fans' wanting to see great, competitive fights, they care more about purse splits. Caballero, Paul Williams, you want Juan Ma and Floyd? Too bad!! You're not a draw, you don't deserve it."

WHAT THE....what kind of hot garbage is this? Fans should want to see the best, most competitive fights!!! Look at how much garbage takes place in a calendar year in boxing. Weak match ups, failed negotiations, etc. Instead of fans teaming up together to demand the fight, they argue and bicker overinute percentage differences (more $$ than anyone here will likely ever see) or blood tests (any test can be beat). You NEVER see this in mma. The fans don't care about percentages or which org a guy fights in, they just want to see the best fights. Boxing fans care more about economics than exciting match ups. Stop bashing Pacquiao or Floyd or any other fighter. Appreciate the sport as a fan, team up with other fans, and let's demand these fights happen!!! No human is perfect. Floyd come back and fight Manny or Paul. Manny ditto. Let's get boxing back to the golden era because it has the talent now in the lower divisions to do it!!!

Don't blame the fans, man. Blame the promoters. The fans DO want to the see the best fights. The promoters just don't want to give it to them. I want to see Pac vs. Bradley, Pac vs. Martinez, Floyd vs. Martinez, Floyd vs. Pac, Gamboa vs. Lopez, Gamboa vs. Caballero, Lopez vs. Caballero, but you have to think about it through a promoters eyes. How can he make the most money from one fight?

This is why the UFC is giving the best fights.

Sure the fighters make no money but you see the fights fans want to see in the UFC because there's only one promoter: Dana White.

No. The promoters aren't the ones posting on here about who is and isn't a draw. At least the promoters get a percentage. The posters on here care just as much about purse splits and drawing power as the people that ACTUALLY GET PAID from the fights. It's pathetic. As are the insults, racism and disrespect. Boxing fans should be ashamed of themselves. If I was a mod here I would clean this place up real fast. Unfortunately it doesn't matter what boxing site you are on. All fans behave like this and help cripple the sport.

        I disagree.

The promoters and sanctioning bodies have ****ed this sport up. Not the fans.

The promoters laugh all the way to the bank. Because fans are sticking up for their guy walking away from an awesome, entertaining fight over 5% or testing it keeps the fans divided. It's the same old divide and conquer technique that has been going on for thousands of years. The boxing fans are too ****** to see it.

But they're the ones making the fight man.

Well then you clearly do not see the bigger picture. The fans let the promoters divide them and focus their thoughts in the wrong place.

Pac vs. Marg is like a Michael Bay movie. It's action packed, entertaining as hell but you know it's still a bad movie.
