yes, what i noticed in the kotelnik fight is that alexander didnt punch hard enough to slow kotelnik down. that is very telling. devon's left hand is more like a jab or a sc****. his power is even less effective when hes fighting going backwards.
kotelnik mapped out the perfect blueprint to beat devon, unless, like u said, he can make adjustments. but what adjustments would those be? he cant magically improve the power in his left hand so hes better at impeding a boxer puncher from moving forward on him and pushing him back.
ortiz has the skill to follow that blueprint and then some cuz he's bigger, faster and and hits harder than kotelnik. on the flip side, u could use my argument and say that the blueprint for beating ortiz is out there, but the difference is that ortiz fights differently now, limits exchanges and alexander doesnt have the power to trade punches and test ortiz' mettle like maidana did.
