HBO is putting major pressure for the Alexander-Bradley fight to happen so i'm pretty sure it'll happen... Ortiz will just have to wait it out for the winner of one of the two fights, or if he really wants to put some fear in the hearts of men he could try to knock out Kotelnik while he waits

They're tryina make Ortiz a champ by this year so Devon is in line first...if not Devon I heard Koltelnik or Joan Guzman will be strong possibilities if they can't negociate with Don

You're right though...if Ortiz knocks out Koltelnik he will prove the maidana fight was an off night and will scare everyone at 140...I think that fight would scare the division rather than having a name like guzman as a W

guzman's not a name. he's as much of a name as kotenik is.
stop bringing that dude up. HBO/GBP is trying to rebuild ortiz. putting him in with an undeserving runner like guzman would not be a good look. even if ortiz beats guzman, i doubt he'll look good against him becuz of joan's defensive ability.
if ortiz is on the khan/maidana undercard, it will be a undercard caliber opponent. its almost october already. kinda late to announce a huge match-up. so i would rule guys like bradley or alexander out.
          kotelnik would be perfect.

You're right about that but I think we will know by the middle of next week...I think Koltelnik might be it if Don allowes it...

If Bradley fight falls apart then Alexander should just fight Kotelnik again

Kotelnik would be a great fight for the fans and Andriy deserves a big fight for the why he fought against Alexander.

                hopefully this is the fight

Alexander vs Ortiz would be a good fight for HBO boxing after dark
Do you believe Victor Ortiz has what it takes to beat Devon Alexander?

                  I don't.

if kotelnik was able to push alexander back and stun him with clean shots, what do u think ortiz would do to alexander?

are you ****** enough to think that what Kotelnik was able to do...everyone will be able to do, as if Alexander can't make adjustments and learn from his mistakes...if SLOW A$$ Maidana was able to Drop Ortiz and make him quit, what in the hell make you think Alexander can't and Alexander is much faster then Maidana

so your little theory goes hand and hand on both sides, both are two young fighters and both are still improving...BUT Alexander just struggled in that fight with Kotelnik, he didn't get his ass kicked then QUIT to avoid getting KO'd like Ortiz did, beating a OLD Nate Campbell and Vivian Harris who was stopped in his previous fight before fighting Victor Ortiz that is not impressive
