and i disagree with the power boxer label. shane is a fast brawler.

Maybe when people say SMM is a great boxer they arent refering to his style. But that he is a boxer, and they think he is great.

Ive never heard people say Pac is a slugger. But yea, if they do, they are wrong.
Below 130 id describe him as a very aggressive wasp with a killer sting.

i did, and i disagree. it was always more of a "blinder" than a true stick and when he DID throw it with snap, he wasnt consistent with it.
either way, i wouldve never considered shane a fighter with a good jab.

            Myth: Pacquiao is a slugger!
Fact: Pacquiao is NOT a slugger. Pacquiao is a VOLUME PUNCHER and a southpaw who possesses one punch KO power in his left. I don't think he is a serious threat to KO somebody with his right hand.

Maybe I'm wrong, but please tell me if I am. Thanks!

No your not the only one, some guy who works at a hotdog stand was telling me how SSM was a technical boxer when I would classify him as an athletic brawler.

i also wouldnt just classify manny as just a volume puncher.
hes a skilled, offensive minded boxer. his footwork and use of angles have become top notch under roach.

He developed those skills just over the past few years. Roach has done a fantastic job with him, just watch the Cotto or Clottey fight and then watch him vs MAB1.....its a tremendous difference in his technique and accuracy, he looks so much more controlled now.

I think the Shane Mosley Myth came from the lower weight and his mediocre competition at the lower weight (Not his fault), The way he destroy people made that myth grow stronger, When he moved up in weight everything change, Mosley is not a thinker in the ring and that for me is a big minus for him.
