Wladimir Klitschko's management has contacted both Derek Chisora and James Toney

Wladimir's options are few for a December 11 opponent. His management has contacted the promoters of both Derek Chisora and James Toney, who has been calling out the Klitschkos for years.

    - Tua wants to wait until 2011, have warm-up first then fight Wlad
    - Mormeck was considered only as a last resort, but he doesn't want the fight until 2011 anyway
    - Adamek wants to wait until March 2011 by which time he will likely be WBO mandatory
    - Solis wants to wait for a mandatory shot at Vitali
    - Valuev is having surgery
    - Arreola is injured
    - Boytsov is coming off surgery
    - Povetkin is afraid of Wlad
    - Dimitrenko wants to fight a Klitschko in 2011 in a big Ukrainian event
    - Ibragimov is scheduled for October, and not ranked by the WBO or IBF
    - Banks is Wlad's best friend and it would be a mismatch
    - Chagaev, Thompson, and Chambers have already been stopped in fights with Wlad

There may be other options like Robert Helenius, Derek Rossy, Gonzalo Omar Basile, Alex Leapai and Chauncey Welliver, but these pickings are indeed slim.

I think Wlad's best choice is Derek Chisora. People will say Derek is too inexperienced and unproven, but given the available options, he's not too bad as stay-active opponent.

Of course, no matter who he fights, Wlad's haters will say it's bad choice. But if he really HAD a choice, he would be fighting Haye or Povetkin instead of Chisora or Toney.

Great summary, Pianeta is another option.

Whoever he fights in his next bout it is just a stay busy fight. Some will inevitably hate but it's good to see him keeping busy. 2011 could shape up as a pretty nice run if he were to fight Adamek, Dimitrenko, a stay busy vs a Mormeck, Tua, or possibly a young guy like Helenius then hopefuly, hopefully a Povetkin or Haye matchup. Maybe even Valuev?

Wlad fighting Chisora fúcks up any potential plan for Haye to duck Wlad again for Chisora next year. Look at it that way.

Both pretty ***** fights. Chisora is probably more deserving but I would prefer to see the Toney fight for some reason. Neither have any business fighting the Klits though...but i understand it comes down to the pussification of the rest of the HW division.

You have got to be the single worst poster on these boards. You are useless.

Who do you want him to fight? Haye and Povetkin (the only really worthy contenders) would rather chew off their own limbs than fight him. They have beaten everyone else.
