It's a fair assumption that Cotto would box Maidana's head off, but if they stood in front of each other and traded bombs that would be something to watch...so who packs more power and who would be the last man standing?

Cotto is Maidana's superior in every way except one: power. Maidana has freakish punching power in both hands and the Torres fight showed that if Cotto thinks he has you hurt, you can get to him with a bomb and it will affect him. I would favor Cotto to win just on sheer gulf of class, but I wouldn't bet on it and there is a decent chance that Maidana catches Cotto on the chin and puts him to sleep.

Maidana.. the more you hit him, the angrier he gets..

Cotto is good when there's not as much pressure, but he's already proven that he breaks under pressure, unlike Maidana, who only becomes more ferocious the more pressure you put on him. I see Cotto having the edge in the early rounds and then getting tko'd around the 10th.

Maidana is a ****ing bulldog, I'd never want to get in a fight with that guy.
