I feel that Golden Boy is much better at promoting big Fights and that they are adapting to the new age with internet advertising and other media outlets where as I feel Top Rank in particular Bob Arum is stuck in the old days of letting the fight and the fighters name basically sell the fight. I feel that Todd Duboef though is a breath of fresh air and he made Oscar and Floyd the stars they are today. But I remember seeing commercials for the Marquez vs. Diaz card and saw signs on a few bus stops even. What do you guys think?

Top Rank is superior to Golden Boy in every way EXCEPT Golden Boy knows how to make great fighters entertainment stars and top rank doesn't. Top Rank is superior using the internet, regional promotion, finding opponents, selling fights etc etc. Simply no comparison.
I agree with this. Golden Boy is better at making their fighters well known, but Top Rank is better at putting asses in the seats, in person or on PPV.

You're getting into Oscar and Mayweather's genius at selling fights more than anything Golden Boy Promotions does with these two fights. Also, Mayweather-Mosley was one of the most hyped PPV fights ever and did sell great, but not anywhere close to what they were telling us it would.
