Looking forward to it. Probably going to have quite a bit of trash talk because of the wait for the fight, should be fun.

USA getting cheap tickets to the fight and it's free on HBO, . UK fans must buy a plane ticket, book a hotel and buy the fight ticket. Even if you want to watch it on tele you have to order the PPV. It's just not fair. I blame Maidana.
Might not have to buy the ppv since its american time like the paulie fight.

This article was put out by GBP. If it's inaccurate don't blame BS, they're just printing the bull**** that Golden Boy is selling. I had to laugh outloud when I read "...with the exception of a brief bump in the road..." (reffering to Kahns loss to Prescott). But then again, GBP played equally as fair in down playing their fighters short comings. Notice they reffered to Maidanas last 3 fights as impressive, which the word "impressive" and anything to do with the Corley fight, don't belong in the same sentence.
I really, really, really hope Maidana comes in top shape to this fight. Everyone says he was just overlooking Corley in that fight, and is why he looked so bad. I will never understand overlooking any fighter, why would you not be in tip top condition for every fight? Oh well, I hope that really was the case. He's going to have to be in the best condition to chase Kahn around the ring all night.

          Of course you do...
But Maidana didn't make it happen in the U.S. - their promoter did. Your hate blinds you.

Actually I think boxing is almost unique among major sports in that fans expect fighters to be at their best in every fight. Doesn't happen in other sports, and I think it's unrealistic to expect it to happen in boxing.

In the football (soccer to you) World Cup, Spain lost to Switzerland (a team of nobodies) in their opening match - but Spain still went on to win the tournament convincingly, whereas Switzerland didn't get past the group stages. Spain is now ranked the #1 team in the world, while Switzerland, despite that win over Spain, is only ranked #17.

Tiger Woods doesn't win every golf tournament, but he's still regarded as one of the top 3 golfers of all time. Federer and Nadal often lose to inferior tennis players, but no one bats an eyelid when that happens.

But boxers are expected to be at their best in every fight, and IMO it's unrealistic.
