Yeah, I remember Barrera being 15. I do think there are age limits in certain countries. Pacquiao was 16, but faked his age and signed himself up as 18 to fight pro.

Wow, I can't picture a 9 yr old fighting a 29 yr old. That would be like a Father beating down his son.

What I'm sure is that Wifredo "The Radar" Benitez is the youngest World Champion. He won his title from Pambele at the age of 17.

I'm not able to comprehend a 9 year old boxing professionally. I can barely understand a 15 or 16 year old doing it, despite the list that have.

In the same era as Daly's, Jimmy McLarnin, reportedly took up boxing at age 10. But, while an amateur, he was said to have had a number of fights for purses, leading some to argue that he actually turned pro somewhere at 10 or 11. But extant records show that his first pro fight was on his 16th birthday in 1923. He was born in Dec. 19, 1907.

Filipino fiight fans remember him as Pacho Villa's last fight; others, for his being the original "Baby Faced Assassin"; and most, for his Hall of Fame career.

I don't know how old George Brown was at the time, but Nipper Pat was his third fight and the last recorded of his career. He never won, per his record.

It has been likewise reported that Nipper Pat fought again the following day and won against Sid Raiteri. I also don't know how old Raiteri was at the time.Their meeting was Ratieri's first recorded pro fight, Daly's second.

Yes, Nipper Pat Daly is reported to have had his first pro fight at the age of 9. He had nearly 120 fights and retired at the age of 17. When he was 16, he was ranked number 10 at bantamweight by Ring magazine.

There was a fighter named Nipper Pat Daly (UK) who was reportedly born in Feb. 1913 and had his first fight in January 1923. If the report is accurate, that makes him weeks short of 10 years old. He was a Featherweight and had close to a hundred wins with just about a dozen losses.

Georges Carpentier reportedly had his pro debut at 14. Three time world champ Manuel Medina, aka Mantecas, also was 14 when he had his first pro fight.

Edit: Add: Battling Nelson was said to be 14 when he debuted as a pro.
