good explanation. somewhat bull**** but fine.

    still doesn't change their resume.

look at your KEY WINS for jmm.

all 3 of his key wins where from 2007-present.

even you know jmm didn't do **** for the 1st 14 years of his career.

El Terrible deserves at least an Honorable mention among the greatest 20 fighters of all time (top 10 post WW II).

Easily top 5 of the past 20 years. (RJJ, Manny, Floyd, Erik and a bunch of others can tie for 5th).

Erik Morales was by far the greatest 122 Pounder to walk the face of the planet. As for the question, my above statement should answer that to.

Do not get me wrong i think Morales and Barrera are better then him but i feel he has worked his way into the discussion, its a damn shame he never fought either of them in there primes, could have been interesting.

he was a badass at that weight no doubt, but Wilfredo Gomez might be worth mentioning when bringing up the very best at 122

Dinamita beat Pac 2x with rounds to spare.

The first fight he dominated every round after being floored 3x and showed heart that Morales and Barrera couldn't even make up in their little fantasies.

And in the second fight he made Pac look like a one dimensional ho' at which point Pac decided to jump weight classes to avoid a rubbermatch.

Morales is a badass, but he'll never have the skills of El Senor Dinamita.

Dinamita is still dominating at 37 while Morales is fighting the Willie Limonds of the world.

                GTFO.

I won't even bother with Barrera since JMM already took a shit on his face and pissed in his mouth back when they fought.

i think his skills get him in the discussion with barrera and morales.

skillswise he's up there with them. jmm has some good skills.

as far as resume/ranking wise? i don't think he's up there.

marquez won his 1st belt 8 years after barrera first became a world champion. 6 years after morales became a world champion.

that by itself kinda tells you how lopsided their resumes were in comparison to marquez.

marquez and marquez's style has aged better though.
