Margarito should not be gauged by the outcome of his last two fights

Margaritos had time to recover from the SSM beat down as well. His brain has had time to reset itelf. There is always a danger of coming back too soon after a defeat and getting knocked again.
Your brain needs time to reset and get back to normal.

manny is obvious your favorite fighter, so why underestimate him??? this aint a competitive fight. anybody who saw margartio fight before throughout his career and even in his prime knows he's a slow, prodding, come forward fighter. he has nothing that can threaten pac.

Hope so, Last November size advantage of Cotto was worthless against Pacquiao, Plus the speed that kills....

One thing that is certain is that Margarito makes boxers look fast. He made Cotto look like PBF for the first 6 rounds with his combos. Made PWilliams look like a beast for the first 6-8 rounds also.

Margarito's saving grace was/is his ability to take two to deliver one and wear guys down.

            2 reasons to question Margarito.

            1) His chin might have cracked. Even in his win against Cotto Margarito took a hell of a beating. IMHO he took less punishment from Mosley before he started showing signs of being hurt. I don't think his chin is as good as it once was.

            2) Pac is a legitimate fast fighter with a ridiculous work rate and fast feet and ridiculous work rate, stamina and (looks like he even carried his power). Pac can just PWilliams Margarito but with better stamina. I for see it being a bit like the David Diaz fight where Pac is just to fast of hand feet and too active.

I agree. There were times when Cotto actually looked like Whitaker against Margarito.

He was really outclassed for the first half of the fight until Cotto started fading.

Not a huge size difference between Pac and Cotto; there was a significant size difference between Cotto and Margs, and it will be even more evident between Manny and Margs. Yes Manny is faster, no surprise there, but Tony's always been slower than everyone he's fought. Speed is not his game. In this fight, his size, pressure and output will be his strengths.

The first thing I'll point out
U say Mosley/Margarito was a classic case of styles make fights. But other than the clinching, Manny and Shane have the same style. In and out brawlers (if that's a good way to describe). And considering the size disadvantage, clinching would be a terrible idea for Margarito.

if u have watched margarito fights, u know he has trouble with speed. in fights where he's blitzed he gets dominated unless his opponent tires out like cotto did. mosely didnt, he blitzed him and overpowered him. and we are talking about prime tony here. he has zero strengths against a manny pacquiao that never tires and whose speed is wayyy faster and whose output is just as good.
