That is a really good fight but too dangerous for both right now, Berto's boxing skills are just awful for a top level boxer.

He would enjoy and incredible speed advantage that will win him rounds because he could explode with quick combos to fast for Canelo but for someone so fast Berto has poor timing and is tagged easily.

Canelo even with his 20yr old boy strength hits like a truck and for sure at least could knock Berto down if not out should the opportunity and Berto provides many presents itself.

if they fight right now Berto would ruin the kid still too early to feed him to a hungry Berto. I feel right now Cotto would be the easier fight for canelo

whoah there. berto aint hungry and he would not ruin canelo.
saul hits harder. sets up his punches better. paces himself better and will not cooperate with berto when he tries to fall in and hold. alvarez keeps his hands free, creates space and NEVER smothers himself or allows himself to be smothered.
saul steps back, creates a hole and berto falls into a left hook. good night.

cotto OTOH would outbox alvarez. too skilled, too experienced, busier jab, better footwork, etc.

alvarez mid to late round KO.
berto IS as bad as people make him out to be.
That's exactly what i was thinking I mean I dnt see berto ko canelo I think he would get him in trouble in the first fee rounds but he punches himself out and canelo ko him with a left hook. But a little later on

he is not ready for Berto, I think Berto would KO or TKO him right now, he is only 20 he need to continue to take it SLOW and work his way up, putting him in their with Berto would be a HUGE mistake right now

sure if would be great for him if he was to beat Berto at a young age...but you also risk him getting destroyed and broken down physiologically especially if Berto was to dominate him

                  berto is bordering on fraudulence.

If I'm handling Canelo I would much rather have him in there against Berto.

Never thought I would say this about Berto, but he has faced the higher level of competition.
