Why don't you answer the question rather than practice childish name calling? Why do people recognize De La Hoya as being a winer for appealing a close decision, but Hopkins antics are okay? I think the reason is it is a lot easier to call a prettyboy pop-singer a crybaby, than it is to say that about an ex-convict, so Hopkins gets away with it. The truth is Hopkins has been just as sore a loser as De La Hoya was.

There were seven rounds that Hopkins clearly lost!!! The way boxing is scored, that means he loses the fight unless he gets a couple of 10-8 rounds!!!!

Most people do believe Bernard is acting childish, but they still support him, just as they did with DLH. People think DLH won the fight, but acted like the *****. I think Hopkins won, but took it like a *****.

However, Hopkins did not clearly lose 7 rounds by any means. Hopkins clearly won at least 4 rounds, and Taylor only clearly won 2-3 rounds. Every other round can be scored depending on personal preference.

I really don't think they can be scored on personal preference. There were early rounds where neither guy got hurt, and neither landed any really big punches, but Taylor was clearly the one pressing the action. There were seven rounds where Hopkins barely threw any punches and Taylor was throwing, so a round like that is a clear Taylor round, even though Hopkins maybe wasn't hurt at all.

Pressing the action is in the eye of the judges, which is clearly what I meant by personal preference. If the judges believed it was effective agression, they might have given him the edge on the close rounds. If the judge thought Hopkin's defense was excellent and deserved the round, they'd give him the round. The rounds which you say Taylor was clearly winning, he was landing virtually equal shots as Hopkins, with the exception of rounds 2 and 6. Hopkins clearly won rounds 9, 10, 11, and 12. The rest are all open to personal interpretation of the rounds, which is why you can have scorecards that varied so much.

This is crap, hopkins lost that fight fair and square, he didn't completely do what he wanted to and that cost him the fight, there should be no controversy, there was no robery, Taylor clearly won the fight by winning more rounds, hopkins didn't do it and all you people who lost their money stop crying and move on, look forward to the rematch and accept that hopkins lost the fight.
