No point in a comparison unless you consider Baldomir some top fighter...even devout Floyd fans don't consider Baldomir a nice name on a resume...

So you're saying Floyd hasn't even reached his prime yet?

        Luckily for Carlos,

he didn't have just 4 losses because we all know that automatically disqualifies you from a fight with Princess Joy unless of course,

you're from a lower weight class..

I don't know..........maybe "just maybe" the real question you should as is which version of Baldomir was better??

          1. The one who hadn't lost in 9 years and had just had the two most significant wins of his career and was seen as a litmus test for FMJ @ 147, given his size and strength. The one that was the champ. The one that was getting paid $1,500,000 for the biggest fight of his life, i.e. the motivated Tata. The one who fought Floyd in 2006.

          OR

          2. A 2010 version of Baldomir (aged 39), losses to Jr, Forrest and some other guy, fighting in a fight designed to showcase the new young up and comer and give said up and comer a victory over a recognised name......and oh yeah...what did Baldomir get piad again....60K??

          sighhhhh........................

The **** they don't. First thing out of their mouths,

"He was the lineal welterweight champ, he beat the man who beat the man, Baldo was the man, and Floyd beat him!"

i consider him as underrated.....not elite, but a very awkward and tough fighter.

Canelo will be a star of this sport.....his fundamentals are very sound and he is tough. He did what he was supposed to. This fight was designed just dor this outcome.

                    Heres some facts:

Baldomir said that nobody hes fought before hit as hard as Alvarez.(lmao pwnt Mayweather)
Mayweather after having JUST turned 20 couldnt have beaten Baldomir in Alvarez fashion.

ahhh, I love using biased statements like this. lol

in all honesty: Baldomir actually did not look bad against Alvarez. no, seriously. I wont go as far as to say he looked just as good as he did years back, but if you look at him before and you look at him in the Alvarez fight...theres not that big a difference. all things considered he was in fairly good shape.
Plus he had a 3lb weigh in advantage, if you think that matters.
