Floyd broke his hand in his fight with Baldomir, and totally outclassed him. A much fresher version of Baldomir at that. There is no comparisson here that is valid.

the "prime" 36 year old version that floyd fought was an all time great welterweight. pay your respects this guy beat judah and gatti in back to back fights. and on top of that he has a win over mickey rodriguez. talk about a murderer's row of opponents. cotto, margarito and williams all ducked him. mayweather was the only brave soul to step up to the challenge and he schooled him and ruined him! baldomir was never the same.

Vernon Forrest soften Baldomir up. I'm still impressed the most by the way Vernon Forrest beat him over any other fighter that I seen fight baldy. That was a schooling and he landed bombs on Baldy all night long. I know Forrest softened Baldys chin up that night.

he didn't make it look easy he made it look boring and i can remember several times where slowpoke baldomir got mayweather up against the ropes and was able to land some punches. that's easy? alvarez didn't let baldomir do that.
