I dunno man it seams to me like it's a tribal tattoo...I thought he should have stayed with the old tattoo...I have a feeling that this tattoo he has isn't finished cuz you don't wanna have too much ink in your blood before a fight...and that cut happened in the Marvin Cordova fight...Ortiz had that cut and didn't want the fight stopped due to cuts from elbows....it was issued a draw but Ortiz was winning

Yea I saw that in the weigh in vid. I think that was kind of wack of him. He did it because he started to hang out with with some modern pred cool crowds and surfer dudes. Unfortunately, he was stuck with his spanish last name written in old english letters while all his California beach pals had cool tribal tattoos. His tat ended up being to embarassing for him because he is now a cool beach dude from Cali that is sponsored by Affliction with those MMA type dudes with that certain fashion style. Some thing about what he did does not sit too well, I dont know something about mind weakness.

my guess is, maybe Victor realizes that its an insult to carry his family's name on his back, since he was abandoned by both parents as a child, and he's been pissed off at his parents since.
