First, let me start off by saying I don't favor either boxer. Next, those CompuBox numbers are off, Mora landed a lot more punches than what those figures are reporting. Mora used his legs, demonstrated very good ring generalship, and made Mosley look sloppy aggressive by missing big looping left and right hooks. By holding when Mosley got in close, he smothered Mosley's punches, which I thought was smart.
After watching the fight on HBO, and then on another network the second time, it becomes clear HBO commentators favored Mosley in this match up. At one point during the commentating Lampley suggest, "Any judge that scores this fight for Mora could be a candidate for lobotomy." Later, Letterman suggest, "When one fighter is the clear aggressor rd by rd, in a hard fight to score, who you gonna give it too?"
From a non-biased perspective, Mora made Mosley look bad. I scored the fight for MoraComment

Haven't counted the landed punches by Mora yet, but thrown from 10-12=182 But as you can see, just in the thrown category alone, the CompuBox figures are way off. I respectfully disagree with your decision for Mosley and favor Mora. When I get more time, I'll try to count the landed punches.Comment

I agree that the HBO guys showed big time favoritism for Mosley. Mora's style of fighting makes me sick, but the fight was close enough to be called a draw. I also agree that the compubox numbers are not accurate for this fight.Comment
