I don't blame'em. It was and ugly boring fight the first 9 rounds. Why sugar coat it?

I completely disagree and like when they do that. Mora is a ***** and fought like a ***** and should be ridiculed for it. Lamps and Merch are fans of the sport and also look out for the fans. We don't have a big voice in the sport but at least they do and are willing to stand up for us and show their disgust for fighters like Mora. Mora should never be picked up by a major boxing network ever again. You sit there and enjoy Mora fights because you are trying to be nice, the sport won't change if we no one voices their disgust.

Yea they could say that the fight was ****ty but to repeat it through the whole fight I couldn't even watch the fight.

Merchant is the man. I have no problem the way he calls fights. He gives you his opinion straight up and if you don't like it then fuck your feelings. That is his attitude and yea he butted heads with the likes of Foreman and Roy. But, he always stand behind his opinion.

I rather have Merchant than Kellerman, or anybody who tries to sugar coat it and be politically correct. No, Merchant is a commentator for the fans and says what most fans feel anyways.

I couldn't even watch the fight even if I would had my TV on mute that is how shitty that fight was. No need to blame the commentators for a shitty fight. Blame the matchmakers.

They could of been a bit more professional about it but that is them, this isn't the first time they have done this. Both Lamps and Merch are stand up guys and have been at the top of their profession for decades so they pretty much do what they want. I think as their time winds down they may do more of this because they want to see the sport that they love go on and flourish and I respect them for that. I can't stand fighters like Mora though. This is your chance to change your life and you do that........I can't respect him so I don't have a problem with the backlash.

Merchant and Lampley are old school boxing fans. They grew up watching people hunt the KO and not pot shot for 12 rounds to get the decision. I like how they go against the establishment from time to time.
