I'd lean more towards who dictated the pace of the fight; who looked more troubled; who showed better defence; break down each round into 3 separate minutes.

Smaller variables like that are what determines a fight more than punch stats IMO.

I've watched it about 5-6 times.

When I watched it live, I thought and felt it was extremely close. I scored it a draw. I had the feeling that it was a toss up and either guy could have won it.

However, each time I watched it after, it became more and more apparent to me that cotto clearly won by a 2-3 rounds.

This fight is one of the main reasons why I always try to watch "close" fights multiple times.

When you're watching a fight live there are a lot of emotions and its very intense it's easy to get caught in the moment and be swayed one way or another, you can miss a lot of the fine details etc.

I've seen it only twice. The live version and the dl. I had Mosley winning both times and I can honestly say I have no vested interest in either guy. I thought it was a very close fight, but gave it to Mosley due to Cotto stepping off the gas and backing up.

When I saw it the second time I turned the sound off. I always rewatch fights without sound.
