I like Mora and his style but Mosley will out class and over power him. Mosley is not as "old" as people that want to discredit Floyd's win want him to be.

Post fight everyone will say Mora was a nobody and shouldn't have been in the ring with Mosley.

I wouldn't be surprised if Mosley catches him early and KO's Mora. If Mosley lands just one of the two punches he landed on Mayweather, Mora will be out...

How much sugar does Shane have left? Apparently enough to be favored in this fight, by the "experts." My question is what has Mora done to earn a fight against Shane, or is it Shane's no show performance that has put him in with Mora? Don't forget this isn't a welterweight fight either, its at 154...this could mean a big difference in the outcome...

Yea, I'm inching closer and closer to buying this PPV too. I want to see how Shane handles Mora's style. Shane always looks good against fighters that come forward, but Sergio is awkward and a mover(with no pop), but this is in Cali and they're both Cali fighters so it should be judged pretty fairly. I'm leaning towards Shane though, but not by much, and that can change within the next couple of hours.

Wess. Shane's not a one punch KO artist, and Mora does have a decent chin. Shane's going to have to swarm Sergio(which is going to be difficult for Shane to do), and he's gonna have to touch Mora with more than one shot to get him in trouble. Shane tends to fade a little as the rounds go on, but I think he can overcome the style match up, which is all wrong for him to look good against.

I dont think the fight being at 154 will make that much of a difference. Shane's been at 154 plenty of times and can operate just fine with the extra 7 pounds. But I do agree with you potna. I think this fight was made because of the drubbing that Shane suffered at the hands of Floyd. And it's kinda his way of killing some demons at the same time being Mora has a victory over Vernon(RIP), it's kinda Shane's way of redeaming himself, as well as taking the short end of the stick through the Mayweather defeat.

I feel ya, but I think your over rating Mora's chin in comparison to Mosley's power that almost blasted out Mayweather twice and destroyed Marg back in January. I know he will have to swarm Mora and I realize that the Mosley of late fades as the fight goes on. Its why if Mosley does catch him it would more than likely be early on.

It wont be an "easy" win for Mosley as some of my colleagues are saying but I can't see Mora beating Mosley. I've talked myself into buying this fight and I'm looking forward to this and the Alvarez undercard. I think it will be worth it. Especially if you get people to throw down on the PPV costs plus "BYOBFM" (Bring Your Own Beer For Me)!

I didn't wanna give a hesitant opinion, but I was kinda implying that the extra 7 pounds helps Mosley...Obviously I'm not sure of this, it's just an age thing, u can't stay at 147 forever (i am aware he's fought at 154 before)...but we don't know how Shane feels at 147 at this point of his career. Shane doesn't make any excuses...and I'm not gonna make any for him - I was just thinking, if u will. I expect Shane to win this fight, I think the timing is good, he just fought in May and it's a reasonable fight to take, maybe not ppv worthy but thats another story.
