I would bet anyone that Mosley isnt knocking out Mora, Mora isnt the stand in front of me type of style, He would move, he would be slippery and difficult for Mosley to land on.

It wont be an "easy" win for Mosley as some of my colleagues are saying but I can't see Mora beating Mosley. I've talked myself into buying this fight and I'm looking forward to this and the Alvarez undercard. I think it will be worth it. Especially if you get people to throw down on the PPV costs plus "BYOBFM" (Bring Your Own Beer For Me)!
I feel ya Wess. I'm not sayin that Shane doesn't have the pop to shorten Mora's evening not at all, it's just that he's gonna have to get those shots off in combo with volume. The only way I see Shane catchin Mora like that is if he sets traps, and catches Mora on the way in or on the way out. Mora tends to "get pretty" in there once he gets comfortable, and Shane can take advantage there.

But I'm with you, I wasn't gonna buy this card, but I'm finding myself ever so close to adding this to my comcast bill, and will more than likely do so on Saturday. Might even have a few folks over, even though I don't have any hardcore Boxing fan friends..................Which explains why ya'll are my hardcore Boxing friends.

I hear ya. Most of my friends are MMA fans. I love MMA but its second to boxing always. Its hard to defend boxing these days but still have the heart for it.

Anyway I'm 100% sure I'm getting the fight. I just hope I can keep people entertained if it gets boring (to the average non hardcore boxing eye).

Shane doesn't make any excuses...and I'm not gonna make any for him - I was just thinking, if u will. I expect Shane to win this fight, I think the timing is good, he just fought in May and it's a reasonable fight to take, maybe not ppv worthy but thats another story.
Oh I feel you potna and agree with you in kind as far as this being the right time for this bout. I think that the extra pounds help's and hurt's Shane all at the same time. You right he 's a very proud fighter and will not generally make excuses for a poor performance if he has one. I was also absolute in you knowing that Shane has fought at 154, I didn't mean to imply that you didn't(you come off as a knowledgable fella, and respect to you as such my friend). I dont know if it's just me jonesing for some Boxing or is this match up alot more intrieging than us the fan wanted to believe in the 1st place.

I mean when they announced that this was going to be PPV, most of us thought this was bearly worthy of FNF, or BAD, let alone PPV. But the closer the fight draws near the more intrieged it seems I become.

He is slippery Ray, I agree with that; but he doesn't use his height either which is an advantage for Shane. I dont see Shane Blowing him out, but I think that if Shane listens to ****m this time, he can get a stoppage(I see UD being the call though). Mora has some bad habits that revolve around his arrogance(drops hands, moves backwards in a straight line, shoots the jab but drops his back hand), these mistakes against Shane can be fatal for Sergio IMHO.

We all know that Shane struggles against slick boxers, but Sergio has no punch. So he will be forced to pot shot and move all night. Has Sergio every fought a quick guy who could ****? I dont know everyone he has fought...mostly because I dont enjoy watching him fight. Has he ever fought a quick puncher?

True indeed bruh. I defend Boxing so much, that I didn't even talk about the Toney/Couture match to a soul at work, but that following Monday, people who don't barely even speak to me were asking me questions as to what happend to Toney(like I told them he was gonna win or something, I figured that Couture would get James on the ground. It's two totally different sports). So I feel ya wholeheartedly homie. But yep, I'll go ahead and get this one, why not?

You right, it's amazing how much the non-hardcore Boxing fan eye misses, It makes me love Boxing even more bruh.

Vernon(RIP) had quick hands. But you right I don't enjoy watching Serio Mora. It's not because he has no pop, but it's the way he impliments his style, and then acts as if he beat the breaks off the person, when all he did was get matched well.

I am going for Mosley. Mora has a very difficult style to figure out, it took Forrest two fights to figure him out(losing his belt on the first one) and Mosley had a hell of a time when he fought Forrest, which he lost twice to him. I dont think Mora has the power to KO Mosley, if Mosley can figure out Mora's puzzle early in the fight I see him winning by UD.

Horrible scoring. Mora arguably won a few rounds IMO. It was almost a complete shut out.

Mosley beat Mora easier than I thought he would have. Great night of boxing until those score cards came out of the a$$e$ of those 2 blind judges.
