Ok...you got me , I'll name some greats just out of boredom (doing collage homework, so its pages long, and I happen to be at my desk).
Felix Trinidad- record defenses at welter.
Carlos De Leon- Only cursier to get the world title four times.
Ruiz/Oquendo- First Spanish heaveyweights in history.
    Gomez-Greatest 122ilber ever.
    Ortiz- Top three lightweight
Benitez- One of the best defensive fighters ever, all natural, I dont think he trained very much.
Jose Torres- First Latin Lightheaveyweight champion.

Great by population percentage, and Latin standards.

They have only produced a handful of good boxers & thats about it. I never said they never produced any good fighter, but for anyone to say that they have produced the greatest boxers in his history is funny.

You just missed one of the best Puerto Rican boxers of all time, but I'm not gonna tell you who it is. I'm surprised you put Ruiz & Oquendo over this boxer you have missed. If I was Puerto Rican I would've never mentioned some of these guys, especially Ruiz & Oquendo. I agree Trindad is the greatest Puerto rican boxer of all time. I don't think anyone can argue that he wasn't great.

Esteban De Jesus is the guy you have missed. The first man to beat the great Roberto Duran. I'm surprised you missed De Jesus. They have him #2 on that list. but Tito #11 is a joke. Tito is & should be #1 Puerto Rican boxer of all time.

But can you name 100 great fighters from New York City? Plus take in consideration that NYC has twice the population than PR...
